  • No, Melody’s Domestic Agency is a referral service. The applicants we refer are not employed by us. We connect you with qualified professionals who work directly for you based on your specific needs.

Hiring Process

  • The timeline for finding the perfect match depends on your specific needs. In many cases, we can provide candidate profiles within a week of your consultation. However, we prioritize quality over speed to ensure that the match is ideal for your household.

  • Absolutely! We encourage you to interview the candidates we select for you. We’ll provide profiles and help schedule interviews at your convenience, whether virtually or in person.

  • Your satisfaction is our priority. If the candidate isn’t the right fit for your family, we offer replacement guarantees based on our tiered fee structure. Depending on the service level you choose, you can receive up to three replacements in three months or unlimited replacements for up to one year.

Payments & Fee Structure

  • Our placement fees are based on a tiered structure that offers different levels of service and guarantees. The fees are calculated as a percentage of the candidate’s annual salary. You can find more information regarding the tiers on our “Fees” page.

  • No, we do not charge a fee for consultations. We believe in making the process as easy and accessible as possible for our clients.

  • Once you’ve selected a candidate, a placement fee will be invoiced based on the tier you choose. We offer flexible payment options, and specific payment terms will be outlined in your contract. We accept all major credit cards, bank transfers, and checks.

Services

  • Yes, we offer both live-in and live-out arrangements depending on your household’s needs. We’ll work with you to determine which arrangement is best during your consultation.

  • Domestic couples are a pair of professionals who work together to manage multiple aspects of your household, such as housekeeping, maintenance, and cooking. They’re ideal for larger estates or clients who need more comprehensive home management.

  • Our companions can assist with light health-related tasks such as medication reminders and mobility assistance, but they are not licensed medical professionals. If you require medical care, we can refer you to the appropriate services.

  • Yes! We understand that pets are part of the family, which is why pet care can be an added bonus when matching you with the right candidate. Our companions and domestic couples can assist with pet-related responsibilities such as feeding, walking, grooming, and overnight care, tailored to your household’s needs.
